The Pediatric Prosthetic and Orthotic technology has continued to improve patient outcomes as new products are introduced. The prosthetic industry continues to look for more functional products such as feet, knees, hands and elbows while the Orthotic industry has developed specialized bracing for pediatric patients such as the First ever 3D printed Cranial re-shaping helmet including plagiocephalic-, brachycephalic-, and scaphocephalic for shaping heads. Certified Pedorthotist

Nora Pena, an American Board Certified Pedorthotist, practices out of the Grand Rapids location. Nora has been working with the Wright & Filippis team since 2006 when she joined. As a Pedorthotist, Nora treats a variety of foot impairments and enjoys helping her patients increase their mobility and independence. Some of her Pedorthotist specialties include wound care, custom foot orthotics, and diabetic shoes. In addition to these specialties, she also measures for custom and compression/burn garments and is a certified Orthotic fitter.
