The prosthetic industry continues to look for more functional products such as feet, knees, hands and elbows while the Orthotic industry has developed specialized bracing for pediatric patients such as the First ever 3D printed Cranial re-shaping helmet including plagiocephalic-, brachycephalic-, and scaphocephalic for shaping heads. The Orthotic industry is also looking at ways we can scan and develop 3 D printing AFO;s, KAFO’s and Spinal orthosis. Laura is a Certified Fitter of Orthotics and a Certified Pedorthist. Laura has been working with Wright and Filippis since 2018 and is certified to provide custom foot orthotics and diabetic shoes. Laura is also proficient in fitting multiple soft goods such as knee braces, ankle braces, compression stockings, and much more. Laura received her Associates Degree from Wayne County Community College and has over 15 years of patient care experience.
